- Why does QFS take such a long time to create a movie?
If you have many images with transitions, then QFS needs to generate a large number of frames.
If each frame is fairly large, then QFS also needs quite a bit of memory for each frame.
Generating all these frames, and consuming and releasing memory will take some processing time.
- How can QFS make a movie so quickly?
If you have mostly still images, with little or no transitions, and little or no resizing, then
QFS just needs to stitch these images together into a QuickTime file. Video sequencers often
re-scale and re-compress the images to fit a certain format. Naturally, this consumes processing
power. We import and store still images and movies at full resolution, in order to
keep the highest qualify images. When we sequence a movie together, we stitch
these images together (if you want, you can re-scale them, or add a background, but we
always start from the full resolution images).
- How can I import a folder filled with images?
Click on the import image folder button.
- How can I import movie?
Click on the import movie button.
- I want to import a images which have a duration of 1 frame, and make a movie.
All my images are in a folder, is there an easy way to import this?
Click on the import single frames from folder button.
- How do you create the slide images in your sample images folder?
Use PowerPoint or KeyNote to create the slide images. You, you could
also use a drawing program. Appleworks also has a presentation
program built-in.
- I made modifications to a movie, and generated it, but the movie is still the same.
Make sure to close your movie player (usually QuickTime). If your movie player has
opened your movie, then QFS will not be able to modify the movie. Close your movie
after viewing it in the movie player.
