Optunis Announces ChromaKeys 1.0.2

Optunis is pleased to announce the release of ChromaKeys 1.0.2. ChromaKeys is a program which is used to quickly remove or mask portions of an image.

Chroma keys may be used for a variety of purposes including :

• background removal for photographs
• general purpose image masking
• icon generation
• cutting out portions of an image
• creating irregular shaped images

People often spend hours trying to remove a background from a photo, meticulously creating intricate shapes only to end with dissapointing results.

ChromaKeys uses the same approach as movie studios (defined a particular color as a transparent color). With ChromaKeys, you can choose several colors (each with a tolerance). In fact, you can just select a region of the image, and obtain all the colors within a region to act as chroma keys. You may also define areas which can be marked as opaque or transparent.

Version 1.0.2 adds better drag and drop and copy and paste support. You can now drag and drop and copy and paste images and image files directly into ChromaKeys. For a complete list of enhancements and bug fixes, visit our web site at :
