About Optunis

Press Release

Press Release - Date : August 28, 2006

Optunis Announces 3D Data Visualizer 1.0

Optunis is pleased to announce the release of our 3D Data Visualizer 1.0: a free tool used by scientists, engineers, and mathematicians to visualize table-based data. Choose your input data file (human readable ASCII text data), delimiter types, and select either a surface or line plot.

Notable features include the ability to specify colors, rotation, and lighting. You can choose to animate the plot by rotating it around a particular user specified vector.

All projections from the 3D world to the 2D screen are orthographic (i.e., closer objects do not appear larger than similar sized objects further away), to simplify taking measurements.

The 3D Data Visualizer is compatible with Mac OS X version 10.4 and above. You may download the 3D Data Visualizer from Optunis at http://www.optunis.com/data_visualizer/data_visualizer_3d.html

Optunis is pleased to see that Apple Computer has chosen the 3D Data Visualizer as the featured application on the Mac OS X Downloads - Math & Science web site on August 30, 2006.
