System Maximizer - Product Information

Overview Features Version Comparison Screenshots Download

System Maximizer is a tool used by scientists, engineers, mathematicians to explore Digital Signal Processing algorithms.

System Maximizer Is A Modern System Level Block Diagram Editor

The Block Diagram Editor includes an extensive library of parameterizable elements. You simply drag and drop an element from the library to add it to your design. You may easily connect the blocks to each other, and when you've connected them, they stay connected thanks to rubber banding. You can choose to display parameters or a symbolic graphic for each individual element - so important details are never hidden. The extensive library of elements includes sources, sinks, arithmetic, and complex signal processing elements. Since the Block Diagram Editor is hierarchical, you can build up your designs from base elements. Change an element in the hierarchy and all instances are automatically updated.

System Maximizer Is A High Speed System Level Simulator

Specify the sample clock, number of cycles to simulate, and hit the run button. System Maximizer is FAST, so you won't have to wait long for the results. Why is it so fast? It's a discrete time system level simulator - the fastest type of simulator available. On a 1.5 GHz PowerBook G4 System Maximizer was able to simulate a 1,000,000 cycles of a modulator in approximately 30 seconds.

System Maximizer Displays Your Data In A Comprehensible Manor

The signal viewers include time plots, spectral plots, X-Y plots, Polar plots, and constellation plots. Each viewer includes zooming capabilities, as well as cursors for taking measurements, and if you want to see the actual numbers, there is a paper tape view available. In addition, you can always choose to send your data to a text file.

System Maximizer Is Customizable

You can add your own custom libraries to System Maximizer Premier. Code Generators create the templates for your custom library elements. You insert your own C/C++ code into the specified locations. Compile, and add the result to your library.

System Maximizer Is A Platform

System Maximizer is the first of several Signal Processing products to come from Optunis. Expect several key add-ons to this product .

System Maximizer Is Your Product

Optunis values our customers, and we want your feedback. If you have special needs, let us know. System Maximizer is evolving and your input is important for future developments in this platform.

Which version of System Maximizer is right for me?

The Personal Learning Edition is intended for people who have a desire to learn signal processing.

The Professional version is for people who are familiar with the various signal processing concepts, and want to design and analyze more complex systems.

System Maximizer Premier allows you to create your own custom components. The Premier version will enable new features before they migrate to the Professional and Personal Learning Editions.
